What was the challenge?

The existing kitchen was dark, inefficient, and no longer suited the homeowner’s needs. As a professional chef and restaurant owner, the homeowner required a highly functional space that could deliver the performance of a commercial kitchen while maintaining the warmth and comfort of a family home. The renovation was undertaken to improve the layout, increase storage capacity, enhance workflow, and brighten the overall space through thoughtful design, custom cabinetry, and updated finishes.

What was delivered?

This complete kitchen transformation centered around creating a chef-inspired space tailored to the homeowner’s unique lifestyle. The design features custom white oak cabinetry throughout, including distinctive fluted island doors, custom black-framed glass cabinetry, and extensive built-in storage solutions. A reconfigured pantry expanded storage capacity and introduced a specialized coffee station, accessed through a new arched opening that allows the cabinetry to flow seamlessly into the space. Careful attention was given to the island layout, incorporating two sinks and two dishwashers while maintaining optimal circulation and functionality. Additional details, including a curved quartz backsplash in the pantry, wide-plank white oak hardwood flooring, floating shelves, and architectural elements that connect the kitchen to adjacent living spaces, create a cohesive and elegant design that feels brighter, more spacious, and perfectly suited to the homeowner’s culinary needs.
