What was the challenge?

The goal of this renovation was to modernize the look and create a pleasant space for their out-of-town guests to feel at home. By incorporating contemporary design elements, such as sleek hardware and vintage accents, this bathroom was transformed into a welcoming and stylish retreat.

What was delivered?

West of Main replaced everything in this bathroom, including the shower, toilet, vanity, and plumbing, to seamlessly blend with the classic and charming style of the rest of the home. The old bathtub was removed to create a spacious walk-in shower, which better suits the client’s lifestyle. A custom glass partition was added to keep the space airy while introducing a modern touch. The glazed, navy tile on the shower walls accentuates the angled ceiling detail and echoes the rich colors found throughout the home. The hexagon Carrera marble mosaic on the floors provides a striking contrast to the shower walls and connects to the marble shower threshold, the marble shower niche, and the marble beveled countertop on the vanity. The oak vanity features charming details such as caning on the doors, adding warmth to the otherwise cool-toned space. Brass accents in the plumbing and lighting add a touch of glamour, enhancing the overall elegance of the design.
