What was the challenge?
The clients embarked on a journey to transform their newly acquired “forever home” to better reflect their personal tastes and meet the functional demands of their lifestyle. With the intention of creating a space that seamlessly blends style and utility, they sought a renovation that would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of their home but also optimize its layout for everyday living. Their vision was a harmonious blend of sophistication and comfort, embodying a style that they could cherish for years to come.
What was delivered?
The renovation project involved a comprehensive redesign of the home, focusing on improving functionality and reflecting the clients’ unique preferences. This entailed the renovation of most rooms, including the kitchen, powder room, primary suite, and multiple living areas, as well as the addition of a fully equipped at-home gym. By removing partitions and designing custom cabinetry, spaces were interconnected, allowing for a more open and functional layout. The design followed a “relaxed elegance” style, employing neutral and muted tones with contrasting hues and warm metals to create a timeless yet playful aesthetic. The use of elevated materials, such as custom-cut marble tiles, reeded cabinet fronts, and natural silk wallpapers, added luxury and texture to the environment. On the second floor, spaces were creatively reimagined, such as combining a den and small bedroom to form the gym, along with enhancing the primary suite with a dream closet and a luxurious ensuite. The kitchen and living spaces received upgrades in hardware, lighting, and design elements to further elevate the home’s overall appeal and functionality.
