What was the challenge?

The homeowner just built their dream house; now they needed their dream basement with the same high-level features and finishings. They envisioned a space that seamlessly blended luxury and functionality, serving as both a cozy retreat and an entertainment hub. With meticulous planning and an eye for detail, they were determined to make this subterranean space as inviting and stylish as the rest of their home.

What was delivered?

The renovation successfully transforms an unfinished basement into a classy modern space, featuring a rustic contemporary pub-style rec room adorned with wall paneling and wallpaper. This pub-style room boasts feature brick walls surrounding the custom black cabinetry of the bar area, highlighted with elegant gold handles. A secret door in the bar area leads to a hidden storage space, adding an element of intrigue. The bathroom impresses with its dark featured wallpaper and trim, accompanied by a floating vanity accentuated with LED strip lighting, gold sink fixtures, and a round LED-lit gold mirror, while full-height black tile stands majestically behind the vanity. In the spa area, lockers and full-height cabinetry provide ample storage, and an MDF slat feature adorns the wall and ceiling. Completing the luxurious transformation is a custom-built cedar sauna with LED strip lighting and a fully tiled steam shower equipped with sharp black fixtures.
