Good Company is a Toronto area renovation and home modification company specializing in accessibility, safety, and practical improvements that help people live more comfortably and independently at home.
Our work ranges from focused projects such as grab bars, handrails, railings, tub cutouts, threshold modifications, medical equipment setup, and other home safety improvements to larger accessibility renovations involving bathrooms, entrances, ramps, lifts, walk in showers, and broader changes to improve mobility and use of the home.
We regularly work with older adults, people recovering from surgery or hospitalization, people living with disabilities or changing mobility needs, families, and health professionals such as occupational therapists. We can complete work based on a homeowner’s needs or collaborate with an occupational therapist or other professional where clinical guidance is appropriate.
Good Company is particularly well suited to small and medium sized projects that can be difficult to find the right contractor for, but our scope is not limited to minor work. As a City of Toronto licensed building renovator, we are qualified to undertake larger renovation projects and to coordinate appropriate licensed trades and specialty contractors when required.
Alongside accessibility renovations, we also provide general home renovations, railings and handrails, home maintenance, repairs, and related improvements. Our approach emphasizes careful workmanship, clear communication, appropriate installation methods, and practical solutions suited to the individual home and the people who use it.
