What was the challenge?

The homeowners wanted to renovate and expand their existing bungalow to create a functional and stylish space for their growing family. Their vision included an open-concept living area, a modern kitchen with a walk-in pantry and large island, and clear separation between the children’s bedrooms and the primary suite. The goal was to achieve a classic modern aesthetic while maximizing comfort and practicality.

What was delivered?

This remodel transformed the home into a bright, timeless space with a reimagined floor plan that balances communal and private areas. The kitchen was relocated and extended with vaulted ceilings, complemented by a walk-in pantry and a dark island for contrast. A dedicated children’s wing with its own bathroom and an expansive primary suite featuring a luxurious ensuite and walk-in closet were added. Neutral finishes, warm wood accents, and natural-looking vinyl plank flooring create a cohesive, inviting atmosphere. Despite challenges like leveling the original structure and installing a large steel beam for the open layout, the project delivered a functional, elegant forever home tailored to the family’s needs.
