What was the challenge?

The existing bathroom was feeling very dated and did not make use of the space efficiently. Its outdated fixtures and faded color palette contributed to a lackluster ambiance that failed to inspire relaxation or functionality. The cramped layout made it difficult to move around comfortably, reducing the overall usability of the space. Additionally, inadequate storage options meant that toiletries and essentials were often cluttered, further diminishing the room’s appeal.

What was delivered?

By reconfiguring one main wall in the existing bathroom, it made for very impactful use of space with the footprint that was there. Being mindful of budget, plumbing was also left to its original location, which allowed for more room to splurge on fixtures and materials in the bathroom. A glass block window was removed and replaced amongst other windows in the bathroom with clear energy efficient ones.

Here, the homeowners can retreat to enjoy the fully renovated ensuite, replete with a big soaker tub and huge walk-in steam shower with a glass door beautifully framed with custom cut tiled trim. A marble-look porcelain tile lines the shower stall, which also features a steam shower, two rain showerheads and a long shelf spanning the entire length of the wall to accommodate shower necessities.  Heated tile flooring and abundant storage round out the spa-like vibe here.
