What was the challenge?

This client loved the location of their home but needed the extra room to accommodate their growing family. This whole home renovation started with a vision of additional living space over the garage. The clients wanted to add two extra bedrooms and a loft space that would seamlessly blend with the rest of the home. The ultimate goal was to increase the functionality of the home while keeping a cohesive design throughout.  

What was delivered?

The renovated open-concept floor plan provides increased functionality and works well for an entertaining family. Entering the home, you’re met with an impressive open riser staircase. Adjacent to the entry is a well-appointed great room with garden doors that open to a paved outdoor firepit area. The gourmet kitchen showcases a massive island for casual dining and eating on the fly, a workspace for epicure meals, and a massive window that provides watchful views of the backyard play structure.  

On the second floor, the master bedroom doesn’t disappoint. With an abundance of space, the new floor plan includes a lounge area and two walk-in closets. A large format tile dresses the walls and floor of the sophisticated ensuite. The free-standing tub and glass panel shower are dressed in black matte fixtures and finish this luxurious space. 

This space also includes two new bedrooms with newly outfitted walk-in closets. The renovated upper-floor main bathroom includes a custom tiled shower, a private closet, and twinned sinks. With the new upper floor reconfiguration, a lounge area was added to the master bedroom, creating a relaxing oasis.
