Originally designed by a prominent architectural designer, the vision could not be fully realized decades ago due to budget constraints. Over the years, as the family grew, the space evolved into an eclectic mix of styles, prompting the need for a complete transformation to achieve the contemporary look the clients had always envisioned.

To bring the modern design to life, the layout was streamlined and the staircase relocated to create an open floor plan. The three-bedroom home was reconfigured into two bedrooms plus an office, making it ideal for a professional empty-nester couple. Clean lines and crisp colors were paired with warm tones in the flooring and kitchen island to balance modern aesthetics with inviting comfort. Key features include a full-height tiled fireplace that emphasizes the two-storey living space, large-format tiles for a sleek finish, and stained beams that define the open concept. The kitchen was expanded by removing a wall, allowing for a spacious island that doubles storage and enhances functionality—perfect for entertaining.
