What was the challenge?

The Heart of the Mountain kitchen renovation reimagined the space as a sophisticated and highly functional gathering area that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding living spaces. By removing the dividing wall and replacing the existing peninsula with a large central island, the design improved circulation, storage, and connectivity throughout the main floor. Navy cabinetry, rich walnut accents, quartz countertops, and a herringbone backsplash create a timeless aesthetic, while layered lighting enhances both usability and ambiance. Additional features, including full-height cabinetry, a dedicated coffee and beverage station, hidden storage solutions, and improved ventilation, elevate the kitchen’s performance and comfort.
