What was the challenge?

The homeowners loved their modern home but lacked a space to entertain, cook, and enjoy the outdoors comfortably. They didn’t want a traditional open Outdoor Living Space as they were quite sensitive to the elements and instead wanted more of an extension to their home.

What was delivered?

From the outside it looks like the new outdoor living space was always a part of the existing home. A metal flat roof that matched the existing roof fit perfectly between the existing patio door and windows above. The stone around the fireplace and on the exterior of the space was a perfect match to the existing stone on the BBQ and fireplace features found inside the home.

The window pattern was also carefully designed to match the existing window style. Even minor details such as light fixtures, cabinet style, metal fireplace surround, and motorized blinds matched perfectly with the finishes inside the home. With space to cook, dine, lounge, and read the space offers the clients a plethora of options when hosting guests or unwinding after a long day at work.
