What was the challenge?

This lovely couple recently purchased an outdate home that they would looking to transform into the ultimate family hub for entertaining. They wanted to open up the kitchen floorplan, update the kitchen to match their personal style and offer plenty of seating for when their children come visit with their grandkids.

What was delivered?

By opening up the space they were able to create a better connection from the kitchen to the dining room and to the living room. My House Design/Build Team opted for low-maintenance materials and high-end finishes to create a modern industrial style while maintaining some of the existing retro charms. They opened up the walls on two sides of the kitchen to allow for the insulation of massive windows which allow for natural airflow/ventilation. Neutral colour-palette, warm-wood tones, and concrete helped create a modern industrial aesthetic. The matte quartz countertops and high gloss ‘Titanium’ backsplash tile also add some visual interest to the space. The kitchen was redone from top to bottom. My House Design/Build Team created a bright and functional space for their clients to enjoy for years to come.
