What was the challenge?

This home once blended in with others on the street, but the homeowner wanted a space that truly made a statement. The dark, outdated interior no longer reflected their lifestyle or needs, and they envisioned a brighter, more functional layout that would maximize storage and create a cohesive flow throughout the main floor. Their goal was to transform the home from a cookie-cutter design into a personalized space that felt both stylish and practical.

What was delivered?

To achieve this, CCR Build + Remodel Inc. reimagined the main floor by removing the structural wall between the hallway and the kitchen/dining area, reclaiming valuable square footage for a more open concept. The kitchen was redesigned with a large island to support the client’s love for baking, built-in pantry cabinets, and a relocated powder room door for better functionality. A custom hutch was added in the dining room, while millwork details enhanced the stair wall. Natural light was increased with new French doors, and the living room was refreshed with an energy-efficient fireplace and sleek surround. Custom cabinetry in white oak rift paired with Caesarstone countertops, herringbone tile, and engineered hardwood flooring brought warmth and elegance to the space. Every detail—from the paneled walls to the tailored storage solutions—was thoughtfully planned to create a home that is both beautiful and uniquely suited to the homeowner’s lifestyle.
