What was the challenge?

The homeowners wanted to update their outdated kitchen to reflect their new design style. They wanted a bright and open kitchen which incorporated classic modern touches. In order to achieve a seamless look, the waterfall countertops required extra planning and strategic placement to avoid seams and material waste.

What was delivered?

The design now fits with the homeowners personality, a modern open concept kitchen designed for entertaining. The gas corner fireplace features a metal valance on top with LED lighting, which shines down on to the textured tile. The fireplace also features LED lighting underneath it. Access to the deck through the new triple slider, that can slide from both sides to give and indoor/outdoor living feeling. The waterfall countertop in the kitchen island and the Dekton counter top used as a backsplash behind the cooktop adds a dramatic touch. By opening up the butlers pantry, they were able to make it into part of the kitchen to increase usable kitchen space.
